Private Lightroom Courses

Adobe Lightroom is becoming more and more popular with photographers for its combined organisation and post production capabilities. User friendly, it allows you to import, sort, rename, edit and tag your images, as well as make exposure and other image adjustments, all of them non-destructive. Plus, it can be integrated with Photoshop.

Private Beginners Lightroom Course - £70 - Two Hours / £140 - Half Day / £280 - Full Day

This practical, hands on introductory course is suitable for those completely new to Lightroom or just starting out. It will take you from importing your images, editing and organising them in the Library module, through to the Develop module, where you can correct and process both RAW and JPEG files, as well as apply a range of effects.

It is also suitable for those who have completed our Beginners Lightroom course. In the Develop module we’ll take a look at pre-sets and how Lightroom integrates with Photoshop and we’ll also look at plug-ins for integration with social media. About Your Tutor Andy

Andy Page is a full time self-employed graphic designer and semi-professional photographer. He has been using both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom since their very beginnings as part of his work in both design and photography. Andy remembers clearly the day he saw one of the very first Lightroom demonstrations prior to its official release. Instinctively he knew that here was revolutionary software created by photographers for photographers, bringing well established darkroom principles to the digital era. Since then he has become well versed in the use of its many features and Lightroom has now become his primary photo management and workflow tool.

Where Will The Lessons Take Place?

The workshops will take place at tutor Andy’s home in Bidford upon Avon, Warwickshire, easily accessible from the Cotswolds and the Midlands. Andy is also able to offer online tuition via ‘Zoom’ so that you can learn from the comfort of your own home, if you prefer.

What Will I Need On The Day?

You will need your own laptop and power supply with the latest version of Lightroom Classic installed. If you do not yet have Lightroom, you can download a free trial version in advance of attending the workshop. A note book may also be useful.
