Included in the workshop is a day trip to photograph the colourful houses of Burano. We will also be travelling to the island of Pellestrina where we will be photographing the characterful fishing huts on stilts in the Venetian lagoon. Here we will be focusing on long exposures with the option to produce some striking minimalist images.
We will take a trip to the Rialto market one morning where you will have the opportunity to try some street photography. There will also be an evening shoot where we will explore some of the canals and back streets of Venice.
When possible (weather and conditions allowing) we’ll take the opportunity to include both dawn and dusk shoots each day to take advantage of the favourable light and to enable us to capture the mood and atmosphere of the area. Throughout, we will give you both practical and technical advice, to help you gain confidence and develop your photographic technique, as well as individual guidance and hands on demonstrations in the field. There will also be the opportunity to have your work critiqued as we look back over our images and review your progress.
